There was once a jungle with glass walls
But do not doubt that jungle's wildness
Just because it had a door.
The living things of that jungle grew free
In the happy light and warmth of the glass house.

When all the wild things were big and strong
They went here and there
And were planted in gardens all over the world.
They grew bigger and stronger
But they always remembered
That they were once seeds of the same glass house
Growing in the sun.
